Mechanical Specialist Job

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Specialist to join our team in Ebbw Vales, Tredegar, Abertillery, Newport, Cardiff, Pontypridd, Llantrisant, Blackwood area.

Salary: £40,000 per annum.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Specialist to work with an established manufacturing group going through a period of growth and success.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

The role involves maintaining and repairing plant and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of plant and machinery
  • Carrying out routine checks and tests to identify potential issues
  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be physically fit, and have a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
