About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and promote community engagement
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to enhance their social skills and confidence
  • Work closely with the care home team to ensure seamless delivery of activities and services
  • Monitor and report any concerns or incidents related to resident safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care setting
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and residents
  • Basic IT skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Commitment to safeguarding and ability to recognize signs of abuse or neglect
