The ideal candidate will have a time-served background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and be able to demonstrate a background within heavy engineering industry or show versatility in quickly absorbing the detail of new manufacturing operations combined with well-rounded experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance activities
  • Demonstrating a background within heavy engineering industry or showing versatility in quickly absorbing the detail of new manufacturing operations
  • Working under own initiative and being self-motivated with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload
  • Having a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings
  • Working at heights and in enclosed spaces
  • Having basic IT skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
