We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturer of Nickel, Titanium, and Steel alloy forgings. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance activities on manufacturing plant and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a time-served background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and be able to demonstrate a background within heavy engineering industry or show versatility in quickly absorbing the detail of new manufacturing operations combined with well-rounded experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance activities
- Demonstrating a background within heavy engineering industry or showing versatility in quickly absorbing the detail of new manufacturing operations
- Working under own initiative and being self-motivated with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload
- Having a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings
- Working at heights and in enclosed spaces
- Having basic IT skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
