As a key member of our Fire & Security Mobile Engineering Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair fire and security systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Install and configure new fire and security systems, ensuring high-quality solutions for our clients.
- Deliver exceptional services to our clients, meeting the highest quality standards and adhering to relevant regulations.
- Certification: City & Guilds (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent) in electrical/electronic equipment installation.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a multi-disciplined fire and security role.
- Technical Knowledge: Proven expertise in the installation and maintenance of various fire and security systems.
- Regulatory Know-How: Working knowledge of relevant fire and security standards (BS5839-1:2017, BS6266:2011, BS7273, BS4737, PD6662, and DD243).
- Driving License: Full UK driving license.
- On-Call Availability: Willingness to participate in the company's on-call rota.
- Fire Panel Knowledge: Familiarity with fire panels such as C-Tec, GENT, Cooper Menvier, Siemens, Edwards, Ziton, Cerberus, or Bell.
- Security Systems Expertise: Knowledge of intruder alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and intercom equipment like Galaxy, Paxton, Honeywell, and Indigo Vision.
