Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Argyll Bute Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and supporting the delivery of Community Learning and Development services throughout Argyll and Bute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote community learning and development
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of community learning and development programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community learning and development programs
  • Provide guidance and support to community learning and development staff
Requirements
  • Proven experience in community learning and development
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of community learning and development principles and practices
