CNC Machine Shop Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Shop Manager to join our team at Probe UK. As a well-established organisation, we supply into a multitude of different industry sectors, and this role presents a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day planning, problem-solving, and operation of the machine shop
  • Identification of areas for improvement and implementation of solutions
  • Ensuring the team meets required performance targets
  • Performance and development appraisals and identification of training needs
  • Working closely with designers and customers to provide technical input
  • Programming and offline programming using CADCAM software
  • CNC setting and operating
  • Contribution to monthly management meetings
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of managing or supervising a CNC machine shop environment
  • A hands-on CNC background with setting, operating, and programming abilities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
