The role of an Electronics Design Specialist at a leading Technology Consultancy in Cambridge requires expertise in designing and developing electronic solutions for various industries. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, this position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge projects.

As an Industrial Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware and software systems. With a focus on industrial electronic solutions, you will work on R&D projects, coming up with innovative engineering solutions and systems. Your responsibilities will include working with customers to identify problems and proposing engineered solutions, overseeing technical projects from concept to completion, and managing client projects against time, budget, and expectations.

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Project Lead to join our team. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for leading product development from concept to completion, working closely with hardware and software engineering teams throughout each stage of the project. Your role will involve overseeing manufacture and delivery of the solution to the customer, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in analogue signal chain design and simulation, embedded system hardware design, low power, battery design, and strong academic background. A strong understanding of physical systems and metrology, as well as an understanding of signal processing and filtering, both in digital and analogue domains, is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including working from home flexibility, pension scheme, health insurance, and critical illness cover.
