Trainee Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Measuring works produced by contracting operations and subcontractors.
  • Working as a Subcontractor on projects.
  • Producing timely cost/value reports that monitor the financial progress of contracts.
Trainee Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
  • T-Level or HNC, HND within a construction-related discipline.
  • Excellent IT skills with competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience in the construction/highways industry environment.
  • Willing to undertake a course towards a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • Understand the implications of decisions on the financial objectives and value of the company.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Commercial Awareness.
Trainee Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits
  • Salary £22k - £28k.
  • Holiday 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
