Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £24,500 - £30,800 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including comprehensive training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and access to a pension scheme.

Job Description

As a Healthcare Professional - Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working as part of an integrated team of nurses and nursing assistants. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualised care to patients, embracing the hospice's vision and values;
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes;
  • Contributing to a supportive and professional working environment;
  • Assisting with the delivery of holistic and individualised patient care;
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A good level of literacy and numeracy;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge;
  • Experience of caring, preferably in a hospice or similar setting.
Qualifications and Certifications

Possession of a Care Certificate and/or NVQ 2/3 in Health/Social care or equivalent would be desirable.
