About the Role
As a Care Professional at Home Instead, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. Your primary responsibility will be to provide non-medical services that cater to our clients' unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected.
- Meal Preparation: Help clients with meal planning, preparation, and dietary considerations, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take their medications as prescribed and assist with medication management as needed.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, participate in leisure activities, and provide emotional support to clients.
- Household Support: Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Transportation: Provide transportation assistance to clients for errands, appointments, and social engagements.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or questions.
