Metrology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our Biopharmaceutical Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (BiopharmCMC) division in Harrogate, UK. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and/or complete all equipment documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and equipment test protocols.
• Coordinate with in-house or vendor maintenance and qualification activities, ensuring vendors meet GMP compliance requirements.
• Manage instrumentation downtime and arrange for the installation and set-up of new equipment.
• Time management and prioritization of tasks are essential for this role.

Requirements:

• Minimum of A-level education or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical role or regulatory environment.
• Good computing skills are essential.
