Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medicine Management Technician. As a key member of our pharmacy services team, you will be responsible for managing the Medicines Management Service, administering medicines to offenders, and assisting the GP Sheppey Pharmacist in writing, updating, and monitoring SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Medicines Management Service, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with the GPhC requirements.
  • Administer medicines to offenders against valid prescriptions, promoting high standards of work and adhering to SOPs.
  • Assist the GP Sheppey Pharmacist in writing, updating, and monitoring SOPs, ensuring that all systems are in place for ordering and supplying repeat prescriptions.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Accredited Checking Technician Certificate.
  • Registration with the GPhC as a pharmacy technician.
