Culina Group is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing teams within the Warehouse and motivating employees to achieve productivity and service KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the shift team to ensure productivity and service KPIs are achieved or exceeded.
  • Lead a team of Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives in their daily workload.
  • Ensure orders are picked, marshalled, unloaded, and loaded in line with customer specifications.
  • Ensure the highest possible levels of health, safety, and hygiene are upheld to comply with legislative and quality requirements.
  • Deliver communication briefings to keep all shifts informed of company and local issues.
  • Manage the goods inwards area to ensure receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods.
  • Develop all team members to maximize their contributions to the Warehouse.
  • Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations in line with company procedure.
  • Monitor and control sickness absence levels in line with company policy.
  • Monitor and control time and attendance.
  • Manage manpower planning to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation of the shift.
  • Enforce and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control training for teams to ensure the correct amount of health and safety representation on shift.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment.
  • Good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation.
  • Great knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a large team.
  • Effective prioritization of workload to meet set deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong and effective communication at all levels.
  • Proactive and able to make decisions.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
