Civil Litigation Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our growing regulatory team at Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for handling a range of civil litigation matters, including general housing litigation, contractual disputes, and employment law cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General housing litigation matters such as anti-social behaviour, possession claims, and injunctions.
  • Civil Litigation matters including contractual disputes, property disputes, and construction litigation.
  • Assisting the legal team with employment matters, such as discrimination cases and HR queries.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil litigation law and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as we offer fantastic training and development opportunities.
