Assistant Farm Manager Role
Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dairy Farm Supervisor to join Blue Arrow's client on a full-time permanent basis. As an Assistant Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, including overseeing the milking process, managing the cattle herd, and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and hygiene are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the milking process and ensure it runs efficiently and safely.
• Manage the cattle herd, including breeding, calving, and calf rearing.
• Ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and hygiene are maintained across the farm.
• Develop and implement plans to improve farm productivity and efficiency.
• Manage a team of farm staff and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements
• Degree/HND or equivalent in Agriculture or a related field.
• Significant experience in dairy farm management, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions quickly.

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
