Workshop Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts at a customer's site in Wigan.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical service and repair skills, with experience in engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills. You will also have the opportunity to complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery in the workshop
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm
Requirements:
  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Ideal candidate will hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • IT literate
