Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Property Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of sales & purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, new builds, and right to buy transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure accurate and timely completion of transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction progression.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations affecting residential property transactions.
  • Contribute to the development of the property law department and participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in residential property law.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of residential property law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
