Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team as an Accounts Director Designate at Pro-Finance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Croydon branch, overseeing accounts and tax, and ensuring high standards of preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, including OMBs and SMEs across various sectors.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of our Croydon branch, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Software Implementation: Assist with the transition of our firm's software to TaxCalc.
  • Business Development: Support the development of new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of our firm.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ICAEW, or ACCA qualified with a practicing certificate preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a practice setting. Experience with OMBs and SMEs is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, review, and management skills. Ability to guide a team and maintain high standards in accounts and tax.
  • Personality: A proactive, committed individual looking to make a long-term impact and grow with our firm.
