Sheet Metal Fabricator Job Description

Class 1 Personnel is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in the Letchworth area. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will work on bespoke and MOD projects, utilizing your expertise to create high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate laser cutting machines, press brakes, and turret machines to fabricate metal components.
  • Carry out final assembly of products, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand customer specifications.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Physical fitness and ability to operate various tools and equipment.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £17.00-£18.50 per hour, depending on experience.
  • A 37.5-hour working week, with overtime available.
