Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled multi-trade plumber to join our team as a 2nd fix plumber. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned plumbing repairs on domestic social housing properties across Gloucester and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out 2nd fix plumbing repairs on domestic social housing properties
  • Work on reactive and planned repairs on tenanted and void empty properties
  • Use associated trade skills of basic carpentry, plaster patching and wall tiling as required
  • Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel to various locations
  • Undergo a DBS check due to working with customers in their homes

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ L2 or City & Guilds in Plumbing (Timeserved experience can be accepted)
  • Experience of working as a carpenter in the building trade either as a carpenter or as a multi-skilled carpenter
  • Experience of working for a Social Housing, housing association or council
  • Associated trade skills of basic carpentry, plaster patching and wall tiling would also be desirable
