Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Metering Engineer to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our fiscal and allocation gas and oil metering facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support on hydrocarbon allocation and process modeling implementation.
  • Liaise with clients to identify and address problem areas and opportunities for improvement in metering systems operation and efficiency.
  • Review and update metering manuals and procedures, and review measurement and allocation strategies.
  • Manage the provision of and engagement of third-party contractors for contract execution.
  • Ensure timely purchase, repair, calibration, and recertification of field and test equipment.
  • Manage the utilization of SGS calibration and recertification activities for projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience in the oil and gas metering industry or a similar field.

A current Offshore Survival Certificate and Offshore Medical Certificate (desirable).

Competence in the use of KIMS, K-Trac, K-Log, and FM2P.
