Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms and protocols, including Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
  • Design and integrate quantum cryptographic systems into existing communication networks, ensuring seamless interaction with classical cryptography and security measures.
  • Utilize simulation tools to model and analyze quantum communication systems, assessing their security, performance, and resilience against quantum attacks.
  • Build and test quantum cryptographic prototypes, including setting up optical and quantum communication testbeds. Conduct experiments to validate protocol effectiveness and performance.
  • Perform security assessments of quantum cryptographic systems to identify vulnerabilities and enhance protocol robustness against evolving threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware developers, and cybersecurity experts, to integrate quantum cryptographic solutions into broader security architectures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum cryptography.
  • 3+ years of experience in quantum cryptography, quantum communications, or cybersecurity, with a solid understanding of cryptographic principles.
  • Proficiency in quantum cryptography algorithms, quantum optics, and familiarity with tools like Qiskit, MATLAB, or similar simulation platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to model complex quantum systems and interpret results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex quantum cryptographic concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for innovation and the drive to push the boundaries of what is possible in data security.
