About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Norton Way Nissan. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret repair instructions and complete diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services to vehicles, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Record work done and tests carried out, reporting on additional work required and liaising with other departments to complete the repair.
  • Provide technical support to customers on product matters and ensure their queries are resolved efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, techniques, and commercial developments in the automotive industry.
  • Conduct MOTs and re-tests, working within the DVSA framework.
Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with a minimum 2 year's experience as a qualified technician.
  • MOT licence (desirable).
  • Able to achieve high productivity, efficiency, and customer focus.
  • A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
