Greenhouse Gardener

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing team at Charlbury Nursery, where you will be involved in rewilding and reforesting an estate. Your role will include creating new areas for plant growth, potting, weeding, and maintaining woodland plantations.

You will assist with tree maintenance, including leaf collection, spraying, strimming, and ground clearance. Additionally, you will work with machinery and equipment to prepare and maintain estate areas, undertake equipment maintenance, and communicate effectively with the team.

• Driving experience with ATVs and forklifts is a bonus but not required.

The full-time role offers a competitive salary of £25,000-£27,000 per year, plus additional leave. You will work Monday to Friday, providing you with a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create new areas for plant growth, potting, weeding, and wider estates work.
• Prepare and maintain woodland plantations, including watering, guying, pruning, and weed control.
• Assist with tree maintenance, leaf collection, spraying, strimming, and ground clearance.
• Work with machinery and equipment to prepare and maintain estate areas.
• Undertake equipment maintenance, checking and greasing equipment daily.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
