We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our UK Specialty business as a Senior Account Service Specialist. The position is based in Croydon and offered on a permanent basis.

Working within our Sport & Entertainment division, you will cover our Artists scheme, focusing on servicing existing clients and striving to acquire and win new business. We're seeking an experienced professional with prior commercial insurance experience.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Taking care of incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
  • Working within agreed authority levels.
  • Reviewing client demands and needs to advise on the most appropriate insurances.
  • Increasing client base wherever possible.
  • Converting insurance needs into sales.
  • Cross-selling insurance opportunities.
  • Leading and processing client new business, renewals, midterm adjustments, and lapses according to current procedures and FCA requirements.
  • Inputting accurate data onto back-office systems.
  • Liaising with Insurers and other third parties regarding client insurance administration.
  • Assessing, assimilating, analyzing, and presenting to insurers and underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate.
  • Preparing customer reports on both new and existing risks to support the commercial lines manager/supervisor.
  • Taking ownership for actioning and updating Diary System as directed and within defined time scales.

You

  • Commercial insurance experience, preferably in schemes business.
  • Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business/client relationships.
  • Understanding of broking and underwriting processes.
  • Highly organized, with good planning skills.
  • Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets.
  • Completion of or progress towards CII certification.
