Role Overview:

As an on-call firefighter, you will play a vital role in protecting the community and saving lives. This demanding role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in emergency situations.

About the Role:
As an on-call firefighter, you will be trained to respond to a wide range of emergency situations, from fires and rescues to community safety events. You will work closely with your team to provide a rapid response service, using your skills and experience to make a real difference in the community. In addition to responding to emergencies, you will also be involved in training and development activities to ensure that you are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to emergency calls and provide fire safety advice to members of the public
* Work as part of a team to extinguish fires and rescue people from hazardous situations
* Participate in training and development activities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
* Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide a comprehensive emergency response service

Requirements:
* Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in emergency situations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £5,332 per annum, plus additional incident call-out payments at £16.54 per hour. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities, pension scheme, and annual leave.
