Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled small animal veterinary surgeon to join a 5-veterinary team in the Wigan area. The practice offers a unique working environment, with modern facilities and a varied caseload.

The role involves providing first opinion care, including routine and emergency cases, as well as participating in a growing advanced caseload. You will work from an eco-friendly building, which is the first purpose-built sustainable veterinary practice in the UK.

The practice prioritizes staff health and wellbeing, offering a flexible work-life balance and a supportive working atmosphere. The rota consists of four days per week, with one Saturday in four and no Sundays or on-call commitments.

About the Role
  • Varied caseload, including first opinion care and advanced procedures
  • Opportunity to participate in a growing advanced caseload and visiting imaging specialists
  • Supportive working environment and flexible work-life balance
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Relocation allowance of up to £5,000 if required
  • Paid holidays, including five weeks annual leave and bank holidays
  • Five days paid CPD leave and £1,250 CPD allowance per annum
  • Private medical insurance and VDS membership
  • BVA membership and service-based holiday entitlement increases
