Job Title: Handyperson

Anchor Hanover is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyperson to join our team. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day minor maintenance and repairs to a high standard, ensuring a comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Differentiate between minor repairs and when more specialist skills are required.
  • Ensure equipment is used safely, following health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in gardening, building, or maintenance is desirable.
  • Range of practical skills, including maintenance and gardening.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality, as well as safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
  • Health and safety in the workplace.
