Job Description:

Pioneer Selection Careers is recruiting a Crane and Heavy Machinery Maintenance Professional to join their team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring all heavy machinery and lifting equipment meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service heavy machinery and lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with LOLER & PUWER regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to influence purchasing decisions and promote the company's services.
  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice on heavy machinery and lifting equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • HNC (or Equivalent) in an Engineering Qualification
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy machinery and lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of LOLER & PUWER regulations
  • Able to work unsupervised and make decisions on equipment condition and future use
  • Able to work at height and in confined spaces
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence customers

Salary and Benefits:
