Graduate Support Worker for Children with SEND

We are looking for a highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large primary school in Rochdale. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), holding a Level 2 or above teaching assistant qualification, and be able to work effectively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans.

About the role:

  • Support a child with ADHD in a 1:1 capacity.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students.

What you'll need:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Level 2 or above teaching assistant qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
