About the Role:

This is a full-time, long-term position supporting students aged 4-19 years with autism and additional learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with their reading and literacy skills development
  • Preparation of the learning environment for lessons
  • One-on-one support to students who require extra assistance
  • Creation of displays showcasing student work

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children with special needs is essential
  • School experience is required
  • A current DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one is necessary
  • The right to work in the UK is mandatory
