Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS). As a key member of our team, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals at risk of domestic abuse, working closely with our Mental Health IDVA to deliver training to professionals within Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and advocacy to clients at standard and medium risk of domestic abuse
- Deliver training to professionals on identifying and responding to domestic abuse
- Work collaboratively with our Mental Health IDVA to develop and implement support plans
- Manage complex and sensitive customer queries with empathy and professionalism
