Associate City Planner

We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As an Associate City Planner, you will play a key role in shaping and managing diverse planning projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and development land.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals
  • Provide expert planning advice to clients across various sectors
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and projects, from inception through to completion
  • Represent the company at meetings with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other departments to offer a full service to clients

Key Requirements:

  • RTPI membership (or eligibility)
  • Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within a consultancy
  • Strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
