About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the VOL Renal Dialysis Unit in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients with end-stage kidney disease, operating six days a week.

The unit is a friendly and welcoming outpatient area, part of the wider renal services which consist of six outpatient haemodialysis units spread throughout various GGC sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to patients with end-stage kidney disease
  • Assist with outpatient nephrology clinics, low clearance, and transplant clinics
  • Work collaboratively with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care
