Job Title: Senior UX Design Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior UX Design Director to lead our design team in creating innovative and user-centered experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design leadership, a passion for systems thinking, and a proven track record of delivering successful consumer products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate the user experience design vision for multiple products across platforms.
  • Guide teams to understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback.
  • Support the design team with planning, prioritizing, and overseeing initiatives; manage projects; ensure that all designs are executed on time and at the highest quality levels.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders from Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Experience in design leadership.
  • Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver.
  • Experience working cross-team and synthesizing feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing.
  • Experience leading design teams in problem definition, artifact rendering, cross-functional collaboration and delivery, and user validation and measurement.
  • Experience shipping innovative, successful consumer products.
  • Knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability managing ambiguity and leading complex projects from concept (incl user research) to delivery and ongoing improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with agile/scrum.
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process.
  • Experience leading design in the financial services industry and/or for regulated products.
