Job Opportunity: Consultant General Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant General Surgeon to join our team at NHS Grampian. As a key member of our Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical services to our patients.

About the Role:

  • Provide elective and emergency general surgical services, including some paediatrics and urology.
  • Develop and maintain a breadth of experience in general surgery, with a special clinical interest welcomed.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our surgical services, including education and training of junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC.
  • Higher specialist training leading to CCT or within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
  • Alternatively, CESR / CESR (CP) qualification.
