Clinical Negligence Solicitor Opportunity

Reed is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our client's Clinical Negligence department. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert advice to clients navigating medical negligence claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Handle a caseload of clinical negligence files under supervision, ensuring effective case and transaction management. Consistently manage time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing to meet set targets and objectives.
  • Networking: Develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers, and attend networking events.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform fee-earning work accurately and reliably, adhering to the firm's quality and risk management procedures (Lexcel). Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with extensive experience in claimant Clinical Negligence law.
  • Autonomy: Ability to manage own files with minimal supervision.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
Additional Information:
  • Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
  • Location: Office-based at Head Office in Lancashire with potential for working from home a couple of days per week.
  • Holidays: 21 days per year plus bank holidays (1 extra day per year up to a maximum of 5 extra days)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
