'IT Infrastructure Specialist' Role Overview

This role involves providing day-to-day support to the Infrastructure Head and project managers to assist in delivery, design, and development. The role entails maintaining effective and efficient infrastructure services used for the delivery of IT solutions across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of day-to-day support to the Infrastructure Head and project managers
• Maintenance of infrastructure services for IT solutions
• Providing 3rd line support for fault resolution
• Delivery of IT infrastructure projects
• Maintenance of IT infrastructure security and availability
• Ensuring IT Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery processes and systems are available and fit for purpose
• Keeping abreast of new technology and proposing appropriate technical solutions to business problems
• Establishing and maintaining co-operative and productive work relationships with peers

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience of working with Citrix, VMware, Storage Technologies, Windows Server, Azure, Office, and MDM
• Experience of configuration of Networking, LAN / WAN, MPLS, SDWAN, and firewall technologies
• Experience of integrating and onboarding new Business Acquisitions into existing Infrastructure and Services
• Good working knowledge of ITIL processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent collaborator with the ability to work on own initiative
• Prioritisation and organisation skills
• Previous experience within a demanding environment

Competencies & Skills:

• Certification in one or more of VMWare, Citrix, Cisco, Storage Technologies, or similar Technologies
• Microsoft O (Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, PKI, VMware, Azure/AWS, NetApp)
• Experience of integrating and consolidating other Businesses into the Environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships
