As a specialist in automotive quality tools and processes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's diverse customers' product quality expectations are met and exceeded.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer an attractive annual salary of $120,000, annual bonus, fitness membership, pension, private healthcare, death in service, employee benefits assistance, and 25 days + 8 BH (increasing by 1 day every 2 years).
About the RoleIn this challenging role, you will take ownership of the company's documented type approval, conformity of production, and product conformance processes and procedures. Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the procurement department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with product managers to maintain records of new type approvals, extensions, and cessations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree qualification or working towards an engineering degree.
- Active engagement with relevant industry institutes, such as the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET) or Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
- Experience in quality/certification/homologation customer- or supplier-facing roles gained in the automotive supply chain, with expertise in at least one of the following:
- Conformity of Production (CoP)
- Type Approval
- Homologation
- CE, UKCA, FCC, IC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE
- International Material Data System (IMDS)
- Supplier Auditing & IATF 16949:2016
