About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are supported and empowered to deliver their best work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and employee engagement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of store operations and achieve business objectives
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve business objectives
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail, or a related field preferred
