Job Title: Sales Engineer - Commercial Expert

Join BMS Performance as a Sales Engineer - Commercial Expert and take on a challenging role that combines technical expertise with commercial acumen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers within the Utilities and Water industry, working directly with end users and third-party consultancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical solutions and specifications to problem-solve or help with larger system designs.
  • Work with a technical team and utilize a technical centre in the office to showcase solutions to customers.
  • Sell a range of hydraulic valves, flow control products, and control valves used in water systems, pipework infrastructures, and flood prevention schemes.
  • Deliver CPD seminars to engineering consultants and project teams within the building services industry.
  • Network and uncover further opportunities within the stakeholder network.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical field sales or sales engineer type of role.
  • Experience of selling a mechanical engineering solution, pitching CPDs, and specifications.
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering or hydraulics or valves is desirable.
What We Offer:
  • Up to £50,000 basic salary, plus up to £10k OTE.

This is a perfect role for a sales person with a mechanical engineering bias or someone used to working on design and solution-based projects with key customers.
