Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Finance and Actuarial transformation team, you will support the change ambitions of MRSG legal entities and GSI4 management unit. Working closely with actuarial, finance, and IT colleagues, you will be an integral part of design and delivery teams across various actuarial-focused projects in capital, reserving, and pricing.

You will utilize your actuarial experience to support drafting business requirements, designing business processes, reviewing deliverables, and managing testing processes. Adaptability is essential as you assist partners and internal team members navigate new processes and ways of working.

The Role

  • Proactively identify new transformation opportunities for discussion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases for new initiatives.
  • Capture, define, prioritize, and document business requirements based on project objectives and outcomes.
  • Contribute to project planning using both waterfall and agile methods as appropriate.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable ability in identifying pain points and developing solutions in an actuarial function (can be part of a BAU role).
  • Understanding of wider business goals and how the finance and actuarial teams supports this.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy administration, policy lifecycles, and workflows.
  • Experience in transformation projects.
  • Experience in writing business requirements, testing approaches, and process documentation.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's market practices, including actuarial and financial deliverables.
