Job Description:

Michael Page (UK) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its team in London. The successful candidate will oversee all finance and accounting functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems, with a strong focus on budget management and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including financial audits and risk assessments.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective financial management strategies to drive business growth and efficiency, working closely with senior management to achieve company objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and development within the organization.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Audit and Compliance: Work closely with external auditors to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: An ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (ideally 3 years+ PQE) is essential for this role, with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
  • Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and transactional work (AP/AR etc), excellent leadership and team management skills, and charity experience is ideal, with a competitive salary range of £58,000 to £65,000 per year.
