About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Economics teacher to join our dynamic faculty on a part-time basis. This is a flexible position offering the opportunity to share your expertise and inspire young minds in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative Economics lessons for specific year groups as agreed upon.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Economics curriculum ensuring it aligns with the National Curriculum and school's academic standards.
  • Guide students in developing a strong understanding of economic concepts, analytical skills, and practical applications.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE A-Level as applicable).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Economics department and other departments to enhance the overall learning experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an individual who possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Economics or a closely related discipline. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for Economics, a captivating teaching style, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and classroom management. They will also foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
