Apprentice Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Service Technician to join our team at Gustavo Preston Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers by installing, repairing, and servicing commercial pumping equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide top-notch service to customers by installing, repairing, and servicing pumping equipment.
- Maintain a positive and professional rapport with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, quotes, reports, logs, and records on a smartphone.
- Collaborate with internal staff, including the Dispatcher, Field Operations Manager, and Inside Sales team.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience in a mechanical field and a good working knowledge of electrical or electronic applications.
- Must live within 50 miles of the Boston area.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Excellent behavior, work ethic, and an understanding of how to conduct oneself in an office environment as well as on the job site.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs, climb a ladder (minimum of 15 feet), and safely perform rigging to move large equipment.
- Must have your own set of basic hand tools.

- Stable work all year long (at least 40 hours/week is guaranteed) including available overtime.
