Embedded Software Development Lead

Description
We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Development Lead to drive engineering and business decisions, leveraging technology frameworks, optimization techniques, and high availability services at Amazon.
As a key member of the platform software team, you will be responsible for developing Ring's next generation of camera-centric devices. The ideal candidate would be passionate about building IoT products and have experience in embedded development in C/C++.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing or architecting new and existing systems using design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles.
- Leading the development of firmware for platform components of upcoming Ring battery-powered devices on Linux and/or RTOS based SOCs.
- Collaborating with the team to develop complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience building complex software systems using full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
