Early Years Teaching Assistant | Wandsworth

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our team as an Early Years Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.

The Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with our experienced EYFS faculty to support the development of primary pupils. The school is located in Putney, Wandsworth, and offers a supportive environment for graduates to gain valuable experience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of pupils, including those with special educational needs. You will be required to undertake various duties, such as accompanying school trips and working with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists.

Personal Specification
  • We are looking for a graduate with a 2:1 or 1st class degree from a top 20 UK University.
  • Previous child-based experience during academics is highly sought after.
  • The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to cater for pupils' strengths and weaknesses, with the confidence to become a positive role model for students across the year groups.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates who are willing to gain experience working with SEN children.
