Job Title: Contract Manager with Smart DCC

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Smart DCC. As a key member of our Contract Management Team, you will be responsible for the management of our strategic, high-value, and complex contracts from contract signature to end of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage delivery of contracts in scope, identifying and managing contract-related risks and issues, and implementing contract changes.
  • Support commercial stakeholders with market insights from knowledge gained from contracted suppliers.
  • Lead and negotiate on all contracts change and project requests, covering extensions of > £10m and delivery of 30 changes a year.
  • Consistently identify, drive efficiencies, and value for money in everything you do.
  • Maintain all contract documentation in line with DCC material controls, ensuring there is a full audit trail and all relevant obligations are logged, tracked, and delivered in line with our contracts.
Requirements:
  • Ability to monitor contract performance with SLA/KPIs, manage contract disputes, oversee contract amendment processes, and lead contract closeout process.
  • Experience in driving and managing compliance to contracts.
  • Solution-driven, innovator, cost, and value-led.
  • Strong attention to details and proven ability to work in an open/auditable way fitting to a regulated environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to communicate effectively with junior and senior stakeholders.
