What is the objective of this role and what does it consist of?

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure governance of all Quality assurance related activities in line with the business quality management system.
  • Be recognised as a point of contact for Quality issues in the business area.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members and functions when performing Quality Investigations.
  • Coordinate data reporting and sharing best practice across the business groups.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to support the business on quality concerns and improvements.
  • Control non-conformities and escalation of new issues as appropriate within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory and quality requirements within the business.

It is essential that the successful candidate:

  • Is a focused, pro-active, dynamic individual, intent on achieving objectives with a key focus on attention to detail.
  • The applicant must have excellent people and communication skills with the ability to work with, influence, and challenge appropriately all functions at multiple levels to gain trust and engagement.
  • Has experience in problem-solving and the use of tools and techniques.
  • Has previous experience of working in a manufacturing Quality role.
  • Can lead cross-functional meetings.
  • Can work independently and as part of a wider team.

It is desirable that the successful candidate:

  • Has familiarity of Industry and Aerospace standards/requirements - AS9100/AS13100 + RM manuals.
  • Has knowledge and experience of Rolls-Royce & Pratt & Witney Supplier Requirements (SABRe / ASQR-01).
  • DPRV trained/experience.
  • Has Auditing experience and knowledge of AS9100.

What training will you receive to be able to carry out the role?

You will work alongside a strategic multidisciplinary team for the company, and you will be able to play a major role in the definition and shape of the future of ITP Aero.

Who will I work with (in my team and in collaboration with other areas)?

You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

You will work closely with other enthusiastic manufacturing engineer's along with the various support functions on site including METS (Manufacturing Engineering Technical Support), SPG (Special Process Group), Planning & Control Team, Supply Chain, Operations, and the Design team.

What are the working hours?

Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday with core hours of 08:00-16:12

What is the remuneration and competitive employee benefits?

Staff Grade 7-10

  • 25 days annual leave (inclusive of 5 fixed days)
