About the Role

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor/Lawyer to join a prestigious Top 100 law firm in Manchester city centre.

As part of our expanding Medical Negligence department, you will manage a diverse and challenging caseload, handling cases from initial client instruction through to completion. You will work closely with clients to secure fair and just outcomes, leveraging your expertise in managing complex and sensitive medical negligence claims.

We are seeking a driven and compassionate lawyer who can deliver outstanding results, prioritizing and managing a varied caseload with ease. Your strong legal and leadership skills will enable you to guide junior colleagues and contribute to a dedicated team of experts making a meaningful impact in clients' lives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Medical Negligence claims, ensuring effective case progression and resolution
  • Deliver high-quality client care, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the claim process
  • Liaise with clients, intermediaries, and other stakeholders to gather evidence and build strong relationships
  • Conduct thorough investigations, identifying potential liabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risk
  • Represent clients in court, utilizing your knowledge of litigation procedures and techniques to achieve successful outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced Solicitor/Lawyer with a proven track record in Medical Negligence claims
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses excellent client care skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service

What We Offer
